Advanced Mechanix, Islamabad, Pakistan, provides Timesheet System, a business-to-business app for project time, leave, planning and invoicing. Customers are companies; their administrators create accounts for their staff. For staff data the customer company decides what is collected and why; we process it on the company's behalf.
Account details (name, work email, role, company). Work records users enter (timesheets, projects, deliverables, action items, notes and comments, leave and work-from-home requests, payroll hours, invoices). Technical data needed to run the service (sign-in times, IP address in server logs, browser type).
To provide the service to the customer company (time and payroll records, planning, reports, invoices). To send transactional email (password resets, invitations, timesheet and leave notifications, invoices). To keep the service secure and working. No advertising, no selling or renting personal data, no marketing email.
Only if the customer company deploys the optional desktop app to its staff: periodic screenshots of the user's screen while the timer is running, the name of the active application and window title, idle time, and counts of keyboard and mouse activity (not what is typed). The user starts and pauses recording with the app's timer / Break button. Screenshots are visible to the user and to the company's authorised managers. Screenshots are deleted automatically after 70 days.
Our application, database and file storage run on servers we operate in Islamabad, Pakistan. Email is transmitted through AWS in the United States.
Account and work records are kept while the customer company's account is active and then deleted or anonymised on request by the company. Screenshots are kept for 70 days. Server logs and backups are kept for a limited period for security and recovery.
HTTPS in transit. Passwords stored hashed (bcrypt). Role-based access so people only see what their role allows. Regular backups.
Staff should contact their company's administrator first to access, correct or delete their data. They may also write to support@advancedmechanix.com. We send only transactional email about your account, so there is no marketing list to unsubscribe from. If a message reaches you in error, write to us.
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
